Pompierii din cadrul Detașamentului 1 Cluj-Napoca au fost alertați cu privire la faptul că a izbucnit un incendiu la etajul doi al Clinicii de Pediatrie III.
Mai exact, incendiul a afectat camera tehnică, fiind lichidat rapid. Ca măsură de precauție, s-au autoevacuat până la sosirea pompierilor 22 de minori, alături de 21 de părinți, respectiv 6 cadre medicale.
Din fericire, niciuna dintre aceste persoane nu a necesitat îngrijiri medicale suplimentare. La misiune au fost alocate trei autospeciale cu apă și spumă, autoscara, două echipaje SMURD de terapie intensivă mobilă, precum și echipaje ale Serviciului de Ambulanță Județean.
Incendiul s-a manifestat pe o suprafață de aproximativ 4 mp, doar la camera tehnică, fiind lichidat rapid. Cel mai probabil, acesta a izbucnit din cauza unui scurtcircuit.
Personalul medical s-a mobilizat exemplar în gestionarea situației de urgență, iar pacienții au fost mutați în alte saloane. Forțele s-au retras la bază.
